Engineer’s affirmation relating to arbitrary constructions
The engineer’s affirmation is introduced as a concept by the laws N.4014/11 and N.4178/13. Legislation obliges the owners of every property, who want to sale or convey it, to provide this affirmation. The engineer confirms whether uses and structures within the property are legitimate or not. If there are arbitrary structures or uses, the owners are allowed to keep the property for 30 years after paying a fine.
